Co-Location Facilities

Co-location is the least expensive and most reliable way to deliver data and connectivity services to your employees or customers. By placing your equipment in our co-location facility, you eliminate the need for expensive leased line circuits, routers and associated equipment and therefore improve the performance, reliability and cost of the services you deliver.

When you place your server, router or dial-in pool in our co-location facility, you're assuring it the best connectivity available. Just as important, our environmental controls and uninterruptible power systems ensure maximum availability for your services. Available backup services further guard your systems against data loss or corruption and active monitoring, reporting and paging can notify you immediately in the event of problems with your equipment.

Standard Features

If you wish to have your own rackmount sever connected to the Internet at high speed, you need colocation. You provide a configured server and we provide a secured location with high speed Internet access.

We only co-locate rackmountable servers (which we can provide if you wish). Other formats are far too space in-efficient and therefore we do not allow desktops or any other configuration of server case space in our cabinets.

The following tables highlight our prices based on a monthly payment frequency. NB: a 10% discount on these prices is available if paid yearly in advance.

We can increase your bandwidth allocation at HK$3,500/1Mbps per month. There is also a HK$1,000 set-up fee associated with every server installation.

More advanced support is charged at HK$800 per hour (minimum 2 hours) office hours (9am-6pm Mon-Fri) and HK$1,500 per hour (minimum 2 hours) outside of these times (includes public holidays). Advanced support is described as the installation of software, configuration of your server and more advanced trouble shooting.

If you require our staff to visit your machine and perform maintenance/upgrade tasks, you will be charged HK$1,500 per hour (minimum 2 hours) . This service is subject to a 24 hour turnaround period.

Terms and Conditions

All plans have a one-time setup fee. The setup fee is applicable for new accounts as well as upgrades or downgrades.

All plans does not include our registration/transfer service for domain name. And, does not include the annual fee associated with domain registrations.

Usage fees are billed on a monthly basis, regardless of payment frequency.

Access to data center is limited to ePacket staff and Customer who is escorted by ePacket staff.

In case of service termination, Customer should submit a written notice to ePacket Software Company 30 days prior to termination date.

ePacket will not be responsible for the any claims, losses, complaints or legal actions caused by installation of hardware, free software and licensed/copyrighted software by Customer, including the third party server administration software licensed through ePacket.
